OUR STORY

Once upon a time three fierce ladies bonded over planning school events for the Parent Association meetings.  Their friendships moved to the sideline of the school sports games, classroom party planning, and Mom's Night Out. Now those same children are adults and the ladies have moved on from being Homeroom Moms to the "Ladies that Lunch". They made it a point to meet up as often as possible to celebrate their birthdays, milestones and to support each other through medical issues, financial struggles, life changes, and the dreaded transition to an empty nest.

It was during one of these lunches, over hummus and flatbread, that South Florida Women's Group (SFWG) was formed. What started as three friends having lunch turned into a thriving community of women who support and uplift each other. From battling life's curveballs to crushing it in their careers, these women have each other's backs.

The SFWG is a diverse and inclusive tribe of women who welcome women from all walks of life, whether you are a seasoned pro or just starting out. Their goal is to provide a safe and supportive space for women to connect, share their experiences, and grow both professionally and personally.  They believe that by working together, women can achieve great things. They encourage members to share their knowledge, expertise, and resources to achieve their goals and aspirations. With regular events and workshops, the SFWG provides opportunities for networking, learning, and personal growth.
